Eight old friends come back together to stay in the Cabin from their teenage adventures, to celebrate the life of their friend Audrey, dead after a tragic accident. But when a storm prevents them from getting back to the mainland, estranged twins Lottie and Eliott are trapped in a tangled web of relationships, each more fraught than the last.
Lottie is engaged to Leon, whom Elliot has always had a crush on. Lottie’s childhood best friend Dorothea is stuck in the middle of the feud. Noel, Leon’s twin, swears to Eliott he’s going to get Leon back for her, settling an old score once and for all. Audrey’s best friend Cleo knows Audrey hasn’t really left her: sometimes, she swears she still appears to her at the Cabin. Ginger, feeling guilty for the circumstance of Audrey’s death, is desperate to get away. And poor Beni, who owns the Cabin, must manage the whole mess until the storm blows over. And then River, Audrey’s cousin turns up. What on earth is he doing here? And why does everything feel so cold, and wrong?
In the limbo of grief, the strange circumstances force the odd friendship group to try and reconcile their differences and resolve the troubles from their latent teenage years. Glass; haunting and dynamic, showcases the best and worst of this group of people as they come together for one last time.
