A Christmas Celebration

Join the UWA Choral Society, with soloist Prudence Sanders (Soprano) and organist Alessandro Pittorino, for an afternoon of exhilarating choral music at UWA’s iconic venue, Winthrop Hall.

Conductor Chris van Tuinen will lead a truly joyful musical journey that highlights unique as well as familiar Christmas pieces throughout the ages.

To celebrate the joy, wonder and magic of Christmas our Concert Program will include works by Joyce, Rutter, Mendelssohn, Tavener, Darke, Berlioz, Mathias, Joubert and Leontovych.

After the concert, audience members are invited to join the choir for a BYO picnic on the lawns of Whitfeld Court, where the joyous spirit of the afternoon will continue in a relaxed and festive setting.
