SHIR AUSTRALIAN JEWISH MUSIC FESTIVAL
UNBREAKABLE — AUSTRALIA TOUR
PERTH • SYDNEY • MELBOURNE
Something powerful is coming to PERTH @OCTAGON THEATRE
SHIR: The Australian Jewish Music Festival presents an extraordinary evening celebrating Jewish and world music, cultural identity, and artistic excellence. UNBREAKABLE brings together acclaimed Australian and international performers in a powerful live concert experience featuring contemporary Israeli music, classical, liturgical, traditional, and popular repertoire.
After sold out shows in Sydney and Melbourne, SHIR makes its Perth debut. Deborah Conway AM and Willy Zygier headline our lineup of some of the best Jewish artists from across the country, including acclaimed pianist Simon Tedeschi AM, Carols by Candlelight vocalist Jemma Cher, The Voice finalist and Hot Potatoes frontman Ben Goldstein award-winning cellist Rebecca Herman, liturgical and contemporary Jewish music singer Ezry Israel, Fiddler On The Roof star violinist Ben Adler, and the CHUTNEY ensemble with Lara Goodridge (FourPlay String Quartet), this unforgettable concert brings generations together through music. And making her SHIR debut, is local Perth's very own, young Jewish soprano, Sarah Ganon.
