Presented by UWA Choral Society
Mozart's Great Mass
As part of a weekend of 90th birthday celebrations, UWA Choral Society presents Mozart’s Mass in C Minor and Elena Kats-Chernin’s Prelude and Cube.
Mass in C Minor is thought to be one of Mozart’s most remarkable church compositions and, as such, is often referred to as the “Great Mass”.
Composed in 2014 for the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra’s 25th anniversary, Prelude and Cube is an imaginative and energetic crowd pleaser.
The Society will perform both pieces, accompanied by a full orchestra led by UWACS conductor Kristin Bowtell.
